Legacy Trail – A Great Place to Ride a Bike
The Legacy Trail is full of Old Floridian history. The Trail is on the tracks that were laid to serve the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus winter quarters (1911). There is also a 16-mile extension that was added at a later date leading to its southern point wherein 1927 the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers built the Venice Depot.
