Pedal Bikes

E-Bikes
Class 1 pedal-assist and Class 2 throttle e-bikes, well maintained and ready to go. E-bikes are collected from our Siesta Key store so we can walk you through the controls before you ride.

Which E-Bike Is Right for You?
Both are comfortable, stable and fun, and both are collected from our Siesta Key store. The difference is how much work you do. If you want exercise with a bit of help, take a Class 1. If you want to get there without breaking a sweat, take a Class 2.
Class 1 — Pedal Assist
Pedal naturally with a boost up to 14 mph. It feels like an ordinary bike with a lot less effort, which is what makes a longer ride easy.
Class 2 — Throttle
Pedal assist plus throttle on demand, up to 20 mph, with a manufacturer-stated range of 60 miles per charge. Choose this if you want the option to stop pedalling.

Great Places to Ride
The Legacy Trail
Twenty-four miles of paved trail running from Sarasota down to Venice. From our store it is about 16 miles to historic downtown Venice, roughly an hour and twenty minutes of easy, mostly flat riding — lunch there and back in a day. Our geared bikes carry a QR code on the frame with the directions, so you can scan it and go.

Oscar Scherer State Park
Right off the Legacy Trail, and a good place to stop for some quiet and shade partway through a longer ride.
Siesta Key Village
Over a hundred shops, cafes and points of interest, plus art and music festivals through the year. An easy cruiser ride — and the sensible way to do it. Village parking is hard to find, and a bike turns the search for a space into a five-minute ride and somewhere to lock up outside the restaurant.

- We deliver on rentals in our three-day price bracket and above.
- Delivery is free anywhere on Siesta Key. Everywhere else the fee is based on zipcode — see the FAQs for the detail.
- Booking for a day or less and want it delivered? That is charged at the three-day rate.
- We do not deliver e-bikes. Collect them from the shop at 6551 Midnight Pass Rd (pictured) so we can brief you on the controls before you ride.
- E-bike riders must be 18 or older.
- E-bikes, geared bikes and road bikes are for paved surfaces only. Never sand or beaches.
