i Kayak Sarasota is closing and we at Ride & Paddle are sad to see this after their ten years of business. This has been such a hard year for all businesses due to COVID-19 and the new restrictions put in place. In addition to quarantine, Sarasota County has designed only certified companies such as Ride & Paddle, to use their launch sites. Unfortunately our friends at i Kayak Sarasota were not able to obtain the designation.

Ride & Paddle is happy to say that we have new and better kayaking equipment available for all ages and uses ready to go! We can accommodate anyone in the Sarasota and Siesta Key area looking for an enjoyable day on the water. 

I Kayak Sarasota Customers Can Still Enjoy The Gulf Coast

Throughout Sarasota and Manatee County you will find  hidden mangrove lagoons and unspoiled beaches that can best be accessed by boat. Kayaks are an excellent way to see many species of the gulf coasts wildlife. Watch Ospreys, Kingfishers and Pelicans dive for their dinner while Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets and Herons wade through the shallows for theirs. The birdlife is absolutely, amazing. You might even spot a dolphin or manatee. Don’t forget Midnight Pass beach is famous for shelling and shark teeth.

KAYAK TOURS

Join us for a kayak tour!  Paddle around the Jim Neville Marine Preserve to experience some of Florida’s best nature. Our professionally guided tours last about 2 1/2 hours.  We paddle through grass flats and around mangroves in Little Sarasota Bay.  We regularly see manatees, dolphins, osprey, herons, snook and more.  We also stop at Palmer Point Beach to enjoy one of Sarasota’s most secluded beaches!  Our tours go out at either 10:00 am or 1:00 pm with a 4 person minimum
